I am a Grammar Nazi of sorts; my mom has even taken to calling me "Queen Correction." While I spend a lot of time correcting other people's grammar mistakes, I do make a few of my own. That's something I really despise because one mistake can make me look as if I know nothing. As far as language is concerned, I haven't the slightest clue how I do with it. I suppose my sentences flow, and I've been told my writing sounds good. I'm just not completely sure what language entails. I will admit I am one of those people who hardly uses the vocabulary words in real life. There may be a couple words per year that I didn't already know that I add to my vocabulary. If I hear or see a former vocabulary word, I will remember what it means, I just don't have a tendency to use them.
